Our Journey

In 1978, Tim Struch embarked on a venture, establishing Pioneer Fireplace as a masonry enterprise with a focus on fireplaces. Over time, it evolved into the ultimate destination for all hearth essentials. From the outset, a robust alliance was forged between Pioneer and Pacific Energy, a bond that has flourished for over four decades. Our growth led us to inaugurate a branch in Parksville in 1990, and by 2018, we had marked our presence in Campbell River, further solidifying our commitment to Central Vancouver Island.
